Simultaneously to his own personal projects, since the 70’s Raffo has had a prolific career as an arranger, conductor and performer alongside other artists, both for recording sessions and live sets. As a result of this, he has featured in the most important theatres and stadiums of the city of Buenos Aires and, literally, in all the provinces of Argentina. Among these activities, the following may be pointed out:
Musical director, arranger, composer and keyboardist for Juan Carlos Baglietto (1983-1988 and 1992), having performed with this group in concerts and tours throughout the entire country as well as abroad (In Buenos Aires, at the Coliseo and Opera theatres and at the Obras and Luna Park stadiums; in Rosario, at the Astengo and El Círculo theatres and at the Rosario Central stadium; in Córdoba, at the Chateau Carreras stadium and at the Cosquín and La Falda rock festivals; and also abroad at the Festival Internacional Varadero ’88 in Cuba and the Feria Mundial Expo Sevilla ’92 in Spain).
Musical director, arranger and keyboardist for Manuel Wirzt since 1992 (Opera, Broadway and Coliseo theatres, Obras stadium and the TV show “No te quedes afuera”, winner of the 1993 Martín Fierro award for Best Children’s Show).
Guest keyboardist for the legendary rock band Vox Dei (National tours of 1996 and 1997, Opera and Gran Rex theatres, mega-concert presenting “La Biblia versión 1998” at the steps of the La Plata cathedral alongside the Symphonic Orchestra of the Teatro Argentino).
Guest keyboardist for Ratones Paranoicos (Obras stadium, 1993-1994; USA tour, 1994; River Plate stadium, as an opening act for the Rolling Stones, 1995).
Guest keyboardist for Redd (La Falda festival, 1980; La Salle theatre, 1979; IFT theatre, 2004; Santa María theatre, 2007).
Arranger for the Orquesta Juan de Dios Filiberto, conducted by Gustavo Spatocco, for the album “Escuchame entre el Ruido/40 años de Rock Argentino”, produced by Lito Vitale, the proceeds of which were destined to the Fundación Garrahan; the project included contributions by almost thirty of the most important artists of Argentinean rock music. The album was granted the Gardel Solidario award in 2006, which honors the most accomplished charitable music projects in Argentina.
Live performances and/or recording sessions with: Soda Stereo (Obras stadium, 1987; Latin American tour, 1987), Los Piojos (Racing Club stadium, 1997; Parque Sarmiento stadium, 1998; River Plate stadium, 2003), Divididos (Obras stadium, 2002). Los Gardelitos (Obras stadium, 2006), Celeste Carballo, Miguel Cantilo, El Bordo, Fontova, León Gieco, JAF, Nito Mestre, Moris, Roque Narvaja, Marcelo San Juan, Mercedes Sosa, María Rosa Yorio and Julia Zenko, among others.
Live performances alongside the following international artists upon their visit to Argentina: Jon Anderson (Yes), Alice Cooper, Scott Henderson (guest performer for Monos con Navajas in 1992), José José, Armando Manzanero, Alan Parsons and Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones).
Composer, recording artist, and musical director at advertisement music companies Play Vox/Eduardo Schejtman (1980-1982) and Jacko Zeller y Asociados (1982-1988), for which he produced memorable jingles such as “Tubby 3 and Tubby 4” and “Todo bicho que camina” for Kaotrina.
